This eight-acre vineyard is on flatland where Dry Creek used to flood, so there’s lots of silty gravel. The Merlot grapes do very well here, producing wine that’s velvety and lush on the palate with aromas and flavors of dark cherries, sweet red fruits and brown sugar.
